What Causes Recurrent Fever,vomiting And Hives Breakout?

My 10 year old daughter started with a fever and throwing up 8 days ago. The throwing up lasted one day the fever stayed at 101 for 6 days. Doctor said it was viral. Strep test came back negative. 5 days after fever she broke out in hives for the first time ever. Went to ER. ER doctor said it was probably from the virus and gave her Prednisone. No fever anymore. Went to school today but was called to pick her up because she feels like she is going to vomit and her eyes hurt when she moves them. I have doc appt for this afternoon. Any thoughts or questions I should ask the doctor would be very appreciated. She has always been very heatlhy.

Thanks for the query.

I can understand your concern.

As the fever is no more, it could have been viral.
Hives might be urticaria that is a type of allergy to something like infection, excessive cold, pressure.
Prednisolone is a steroid can be used for allergic reaction if not controlled by anti-allergic medicine.

Prednisone may cause gastritis which may be the cause for throwing up.
