What Causes Recurrent Itching Sensation On Palm And Back Of Hands?

I'v been experiencing periodic itchy sensations on the palm and back of my hands and it comes and goes. Each time it lasts for about 30 minutes. I also have been getting small rash like bumps on my forearms that come and go and a light rash on my back and sides. This has been going on for about six days. I also feel nauseous and fatigued. No fever. I haven't eaten any thing new or changed anything.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurrent itching sensation on palm and back of hands . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like xerotic eczema , atopic dermatitis , contact dermatitis , infection , medications side effects or diabetes . I would suggest you to keep your hands clean and dry , do not apply any cosmetic product , apply only petroleum jelly , take anti histamine like benadryl twice a day and stay away from dry environment . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , skin patch test and allergy test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , corticosteroid ointments along with anti bacterial or anti viral medicine depending upon the diagnosis .
