What Causes Recurrent Partial Seizures While On Epilim Chrono?

My son is 10 years old and 43 kgs in weight.the doctor has shifted him to oxetol 300 in morning and 600 in evening . Previously he was on chrono 300 on morning and same in evening.he is suffering from partial epilepsy and fits were recurring while giving chrono. Pl suggest .

He is on tab oxetol 300 morning and 600 in the evening. I do not know why total dose is not devided in equal mg. Both drugs are indicated in partial seizures. I think drug has to given daily wthout any miss and their effect starts after 4 days .If drug is given say tab oxetol 450 twice a day. If seizure is not conrolled with dose we can increase up to 600mg twice a day. If i have to treat such a patient i will advice tab oxetol ( dose of tab oxetol is 20 to30mg per kg of body weight ) to inctease gradualy up to 30mg per kilo body weight.
