What Causes Recurring Olecranon Bursitis After Injury?

hi i have popeye elbow from an injury. it disappeared once , grew back, had it drained, grew back within a week and have an appt with a surgeon soon. the xrays said no breaks or cracks, do you think surgery is next and how long is the recovery, boo dont want it, had a shot of something injected and didnt help, no pain

Based upon the history you have provided you should meet orthopedic surgeon so that it can be properly examined. Bursitis normally get heal with rest and antiinflammatory drugs. .sometimes there is need of steroid injections too..
