What Causes Recurring Abdominal Ulcer Along With Shortness Of Breath?
I had gastric bypass September 2014, June 2015 I had a revision because of bleeding ulcer that wouldn t heal, Had a EGD done Friday and the ulcer is back. Well it s been back for a few months. My doctor has been treating it with meds but it s not healing. I m having shortness of breath, pain in chest, pain in back and can t eat without getting sick.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring abdominal ulcer along with shortness of breath . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis , food allergies , lactose intolerance , irritable bowel syndrome , appendicitis or crohn’s disease. The symptoms can also occur due to acid reflux , chest infection or post surgery complication , so consult your surgeon.I Consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test along with ultrasound and take history . Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , ornidazole and anti inflammatory . Doctor may also recommend surgery in case of appendicitis. I would suggest you to avoid taking dairy product , food like broccoli , take antacid after every meal or eat light and non spicy . Also take light walk after every meal and do not go to bed immediately after having food .
