What Causes Recurring Difficulty In Swallowing Inspite Of Having Hypothyroidism?

hello doctor, I am a 35 years old, mom of a 2.5 yr old kid. My height is 5 2 and weight is 75 kgs. I am hypo-thyroid for the last 10 years. Lately, I am experiencing difficulty swallowing(not while eating), u know it is after every 2 minutes while breathing. This things keeps on appearing almost every 20-25 days, remains for 4-5 days. I have a friend who has been operated for thyroid cancer. And that s what worries me. Do you think this is a symptom of thyroid cancer? Please advise me.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have history of hypothyroidism and now difficulties in breathing. It is not the symptoms of thyroid cancer. But you should go for ultrasound neck and x ray chest. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
