What Causes Recurring Headaches Despite Taking Treatment?

hello, Few months back I had severe headache and I consulted one neurologist and in blood test vitamin deficiency was found (vitamin B12). Doc also told me it could be migraine and I was taking some medicine for that then after 2 and a half month I stopped having these medicine and for last two days the headache has again started. General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the migraines have recurred, then you may need to start back the medication that you were given.

Medications for migraines can be divided into those given to prevent headaches from occurring and those that are used to treat headaches that are present.

If you get frequent headaches or they are very severe or they do not respond well to pain medications then you should speak to your doctor about getting the medication that stop the headache from occurring (prophylactic med).

If you have pain medication at home then you can use these, if not effective then you need to contact your doctor.

I hope this helps
