General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is nothing but local staph infection.
As a first line management you can apply mupirocin ointment for symptomatic relief.
You can apply mupirocin after cleaning with soap and water.
If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
