What Causes Recurring Muscle Spasms In Hands, Legs And Back?
I have periodic muscle spasms in my hands feet legs thighs and back. Nothing seems to help I have a prescription medication for mag-oxide, calium, potassium, and I take Lyrica. I still have frequent muscle spasms that are very painful. While having the spasms I take flexural a muscle relaxer that sometimes helps. I have had this problem since I was a young child as I get older it seems to get worse. can you help
Let me tell you that the symptoms described by you suggest that you have recurring muscle spasms. In this situation, I suggest some home remedies as follows: ** Stretching workouts for spasticity and ordinary health; you can also want any person to assist with your exercises. ** Avoiding extraordinarily warm or bloodless temperatures. ** Wearing loose-fitting apparel and keep away from restrictive clothes or braces. ** Getting lots of sleep. ** Changing your function often, at least each and every two hours.
This helps to keep away from creating strain sores if you use a wheelchair or continue to be in mattress for lengthy periods.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Arup Majumdar, General & Family Physician
