What Causes Recurring Pain In The Upper Arm?

I m researching upper arm pain/ache and it ranges from heart attack to lupus to fibermayalgia (sp?)! Not sure what to think or if I should take this seriously or not? The pain comes and goes and is like a deep ache in the muscle I think. It s hard to explain. Any suggestions? I m a Caucasian female, 43, non- smoker, 5 6 and I am not over weight. The last time I got my blood results back (a few months ago) everything was in the normal ranges. It s going on a few weeks now and seems to be getting worse and is more annoying than anything. Reading it could be a heart attack is what is scaring me.

Hello
I would suggest you to visit any cardiologist for his consultation. You may be required for certain diagnostic test like ECG and TMT.
It is important to rule out the cause of complain.
It is difficult to say the reason of pain in shoulder. It may be due to heart or it may due to other reason like nerve irritation, Muscular sprain or other.
Age of 43 is most prone to heart attack so routine investigation is is always a good step

Thanks
