What Causes Recurring Pleurisy?

I had a bad case of pleurisy. I was hospitalized (only for 1.5 days). I ve been on aleve and colychine (sp?) for 2 years. I keep feeling like the pleurisy comes back periodically. Not bad like it was when I went in the hospital. It s very anxiety provoking to not know why it comes back. Could it be stress?

No, pleurisy is not related to stress itself. It might be to have muscles pain but not pleurisy itself. Pleurisy happens only if the pleural surfaces is infected.
