What Causes Red And Itchy Rashes On The Palm, Feet And Arm?

I started with a rash last week after returning from vacation but as quick as it would breakout it would completely disappear. I was given a steroid shot on Friday & have been fine all weekend. Today I am having these red itchy splotches on my palm, top of foot & my arm but they have since went away. Would rashes from scabies just go away?

Hi,

As per your query, you have red itchy rashes on the palm, feet and arm can occur due to certain reasons like an allergic reaction, side effect, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis or some medical conditions.

I would suggest you apply cold compresses on rashes and wear loose clothes, prevent rashes from direct sunlight and take over the counter antihistamines like Benadryl. If the condition doesn't get well then consult a dermatologist for proper examination and treatment, who may prescribe immunosuppressants along with corticosteroid ointment.
