I can understand your concern red painful circular spot on bicep after had injection during MRI.
After reading your query it appears to be simple bruise. The very first and important thing to tell you is your bruise or rash is not at all a thing of worry for you.
It is a simple collection of blood due to minor injury to the very fine blood vessels under the skin by the needle during the procedure of blood collection. Due to this blood gets collected and causes reddish to bluish discoloration of skin. It will be changing to blackish color then greenish and then will be fading away in 10 -14 days. You need not do anything for the same.
If the pain is not reducing in 48 hours then should meet the doctor to see any signs of infection in the skin.
All the best.
