Dr. Hanif warmly welcomes you with thanks for a consult!

I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I want to assure, I will take care all of your medical concerns according to the latest medical guidelines.

These are the hair follicle infection that is caused by reusing the shaving razor or the blunt razor blade. It is all curable and you need to take special care of it. Apply Triple antibiotic cream and Procort cream on it. Take by mouth Ibuprofen to reduce the pain and redness caused by the inflammation.

I have not seen the severity of the disease you have. In mild-moderate cases these topical and oral are enough medications to cover the issues. But in moderately severe cases we need to prescribe you with Cephalexin (you may need a prescription script for this oral antibiotic. You then need to consult a physician too for better help).

Hot fomentation is also helpful in such cases. Don't apply body spray, roll on deodorants and antiperspirants directly on the armpit skin. Take a bath with Oatmeal Milk and Honey body wash. Don't use scented soaps.

Hope I answered all of your questions. Please click on 'I Find This Answer Helpful' and don't forget to add your precious positive feedback to help me able to assist you better in future too.
