What Causes Red Rashes On Body Of An Infant While Having Fever?

hi my son is 6 months old and has developed red spots on his face, chest, neck, stomach and back. i am not sure if this is heat rash as we live in Dubai and its extremely hot here or some other infection. he also had fever for two days for which i gave him Calpol twice a day.
