Hi, It seems every time I go get my year check up for blood work and urine test they tell me I have blood in my urine with white blood cells. Two years ago they saw a red spot on the back of the bladder wall and it is still there. Not changed. Now I will be going in for a biopsy to rule out anything other than inflammation. Sometimes they say it is a uti and other times they say there is no growth in the urine culture. Does this sound bad? I don t feel bad. I am 56 years old and the only problem I have that I know is my thyroid is high so I am taking more thyroid now and I am trying to loose 25 lbs.
Usually, the urinary infection does not cause isolated red spot over the bladder wall, though there can be diffuse thickening of the bladder wall with hyperemia or else.
