What Causes Red Welt On Stomach With White Ring Around It?
My two year old daughter has a red welt on her tummy that has a white ring around it. It a a very tiny bump in the middle like a goose bump but doesnt look like a bite or sting. It doent bother her but it is pretty large about twi inches diamiter. Also This is the second time it s shown up in the same spot. It was there about a week ago last maybe two-three days and disappeared. Now it s back. She has no other symptoms so I hate to take her to doc for nothing.any idea what it could be?
As per my clinical experience, the red dot with white ring around it may be indicative of possible: - Bull's eye rash - Lyme's rash following tick bite - Tinea infection of skin as fungal cause It is mandatory to take her to Pediatrician or skin specialist to cure this without delay as it may worsen later on.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
