What Causes Redness And Pimples On The Glans Penis?

Hi, I am seeing redness and pimples on my glan penis after masturbation or after I get erection due to the secretion of lubricants. I have done All the STD s and HIV test all are negative. No unprotected sex in last two months. What might be the reason. I have family history of diabetes.

Hi,

The condition which you have explained may be a problem called balanoposthitis. Diabetes if surely one precursor hence, first of all, you have to get the blood sugars fasting, postprandial and random along with HbA1c done.

Consult a Urologist to have an exact diagnosis so that a problem can be solved by means of an antibiotic, Metronidazole and local liquid Povidone Iodine if required.

Since STDs tests are negative nothing to worry about these although it is best to get these tests done repeated after 3 months to be sure about it.

Keep the area well ventilated by using loose underwear and pants. Avoid hot and humid atmosphere. Send a clear and focused photo is possible.
