Thank you for providing little history. Well, Understanding a Little about the cardio respiratory system is always helpful for patient as the panic level comes down. Usually, pulse, heart rate and blood pressure are all connected to each other. But important factor to understand is, are you having any clinical signs or symptoms? if you do not have any then you should get less worried and wait for any to arise. But if you have any clinical signs which are directly related to it then you should meet up a cardio for medical part. Usually, @ age 59 with diabetes you will surely have little fluctuation of the pulse, HR and BP. Which should not make you panic, as it is common in most of the patients.
Still if you feel panic from within, then meet up a cardiac physician and he will be of help to convince you and reduce your fear to all the things.
Thanks
