What Causes Reduced Oxygen Levels Along With Sinus Infection In A COPD Patient?

I have COPD which is usually well controlled considering...I recently suffered a Sinus infection that went to my Chest (no discoloration in sputum) was Prescribed Z-Pack and am on the road to recovery (took last pill today) using Advair/ ProAir/ Saline Inhaler/ Fluticasone as needed)....I do not use supplemental Oxygen usually my Oxygen levels are 97 to 93.....right now they are high 80 s to low 90 s....slowly getting better) My question is I was thinking of going to urgent care and ask for breathing help, have gotten in before during a bad exacerbation...I have been limited this last week as far as my breathing goes.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are experiencing difficulty with breathing, then it would be best for you to see someone for assessment and assistance.

You may need temporary oxygen till your levels improve. A short course of steroids may or may not be needed as well.

I hope this helps
