What Causes Restlessness After Increasing Dosage Of Xoloft?

Hi, I have been on Xoloft for OCD for about a year with a dosage of 25mg. A few days ago my dosage wasdoubled to 50mg. I have noticed for the past day or two, I have been more restless, figgity, and have been way more hyper. I have been shaking my legs and hands quite a bit, and have been making random noises. I am not sure if my pulse or bp is higher, but it feels different. I just want to check if I may be suffering from Serotonin Syndrome asa result of my dosage increase and if so, are these symptoms mild enough to go away on their own?

Hi

I admire you for positive outlook.

Usual dose of zoloft in OCD is 100 mg to 200 mg.

So dose increase from 25 mg to 50 mg do not lead to seretonin syndrome.

so no need to worry.

Just add tab etizolam .5 mg for restlessness and it is part of anxiety.
Etizolam will take care of this.

Thank you.
Take care.
