Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

From the description of your symptoms, it is likely that you are suffering from an anxiety disorder. Paxidep (Paroxetine) is an SSRI anti-depressant / anti-anxiety medication. It is a safe and non-addictive medication, effective in the treatment of a wide range of anxiety disorders.

However the dosage of medication will depend upon the severity of the symptoms and the response to medication. It is not possible to advise you on the dosage without a detailed history or a psychological assessment. So, please continue to take the medication as prescribed, and if any problems, discuss with you psychiatrist about the dosage.

Wish you all the best.
