What Causes Rib Pain After An Injury?
Hi my partner got attacked a year ago an had two broken ribs with quiet a lot of swelling down her side, after 13 months she is still in some pain where constantly hurting her during the day an cannot lay on that side, just wondering if there is another reason why still hurting her so bad

pain persisting even after 1 year of injury is not a good sign, and itwould be advisable to get yourself examined, so that the cause can be found out. probably a non healed broken rib, or involvement of nerve in the healing tissue may cause persistent pain, but an examination can give us more clues than any thing else.
