What Causes Right-sided Abdominal Cramps And Stabbing Pain Upon Sneezing?
Hi doctor, I am a female, 23 years old. I am week late on my period. Been having a cramp (not period cramp, but it feels like a muscular cramp) on my lower right side where ovary is. I sneezed and their was an instant stabbing pain that caused me to turn and grab the area and wasn t able to move for 30seconds. I ve never had this before and not sure what it can be. Could be a possibility of pregnancy but not very sure if that would be a sign. Thankx for your help.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
You might be pregnant, or have pregnancy issues. Period-like cramps while not on your period can also be an early sign of pregnancy. On the other hand, your cramps could possibly mean an ectopic pregnancy. So,these cramps should be evaluated by a pelvic ultrasound and a visit at the gynecologist.
Hope my answer was helpful.
