What Causes Right Sided Abdominal Pain And Nausea In Elderly Women?
I am a 64 year old woman who feels just like I did when I was pregnancy. Have pains on my right side between my waist and hip. Appendix were removed when 9 years old. I am constantly nausated and the smell of food is overwhelming. I have not taste. I have a low grade fever with cold and hot flashes. I am so tired but can t sleep because of pain in side.

We have to rule out possible causes like renal calculus.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.
