What Causes Right Sided Back Pain, Gastritis And Excessive Burping?
I have pain on the right side of my back (approx Breast height). It began last evening at approx 9PM . It feels like gas. I burped and passed gas rectally and the pain was gone within a few hours. It started again about two hours ago - very uncomfortable and hurts most when i breathe in. I am burping but only relieves it for that moment and comes right back. The only way I can get comfortable in to lie face down, knees tucked under me and arms straight out in front of me

From your description, I am of the opinion that You should start PPI drugs such as Pantoprazole, take enough of fibers In your diet and may take some laxatives at bedtime( for a very brief period). You can revert back to me.
