Hello You didn't mention the duration of temperature , from how many days? This type of fever ( if long duration ) may be due to these reasons , these include. 1 Typhoid fever , usually blood sample don't show any result ( positive for first 7-10 days of fever) . Diagnosis can be confirmed by Widal test as well serology test. 2 Tuberculosis is another such common cause of fever. Evening rise of temperature id characteristic feature of tuberculosis . Diagnosis can be confirmed by tuberculin as well X ray chest. 3 Jaundice is another such cause . Get in blood for serum bilirubin level. Above mentioned causes are most common cause , others are anemia , deficiency of calcium . In my opinion once again get in these tests and consult one more physician for 2nd opinion.
