General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I too think the pain is due to GERD. Should take antacids after eating, PPIs, and ranitidine at bedtime.

Should avoid foods that can aggravate GERD symptoms:

- oily/fried/spicy foods

- have frequent meals, do not let your stomach empty for long

- have a small amount of food

- raise your head when. you sleep

- avoid laying down immediately after eating

Should run upper endoscopy to confirm GERD. Should run a cardiac check-up to rule out cardiovascular problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
