I am 62 years having blood pressure. Upto the age of 45 I din not have diabetes, after that upto the age of 56 it was under control with mild doze. Now even after all precautions and taking mild doze it is showing trend of increasing. B.P. is under control
Hi , Thanks for writing in to us at HCM. Diabetes is a progressive disease . with age the blood pessure shows increasing trends due to decrease in elasticity of Blood vessels.
Kindly consult a physician and get your present blood sugar levels and BP checked. If required you may be put on medication. HB1Ac (Glycosylated Haemoglobin) gives a better picture of the diabetic status for the last three months. kindly get this checked along with Fasting blood sugar and post prandial blood sugar.
Regards, Dr.Riyanka
