What Causes Rise In The BP Levels In The Mornings Despite Taking Met-XI And Telma?

sir, I am 60. I have started taking met-xl12.5 in morning and telma-20 before bed time from last one month.my BP remains at 140/80 in morning but during rest of the day it emains 120/80. may i know if it is nomal or it will take some more time to maintain a normal value all the time.

Hello,

140/80 is borderline and no additional drugs are required as your baseline is well maintained. You can reduce the salt intake and periodic BP monitoring is also important.
