What Causes Runny Nose, Headache And Facial Pressure?

85 yr old women, presents with headache at base of skull, that has progressed and radiated to the entire head with increased pain with loud noises, also has light headed feeling. There is NO discomfort at all while laying down. She has had two strokes, MRI of brain shows no other issues, MRI of neck shows mildly bulging disc at 6-7. She does have runny nose and occasional facial pressure, states most of discomfort is pressure. Has undergone, therapy-nerve block-and is progressively getting worse. What could it be?

I think the pain comes due to compression at c6-x7 and is getting worse from sinusitis.
You can help her using.
* pseudo ephedrine
*corticosteroids spry . (Butrsonid)
*rinse with salty water.
