What Causes Sciatica Pain Despite Being Treated By A Chiropractor?
i am looking for a dr. in the Asheville area to treat my sciatica pain with an ESI .I was a hairstylist for 40yrs.and i periodically get sciatica.i have had ESI s in the past and it seems this is the only thing that helps me and lasts for a number of yrs.I use to live in Fl. and had them there.i currently have been going to a chriopractor for 4 weeks now 2x a week and still no relief. i also have been getting massages. Can you help me find an accredible dr. that does these onjections? thanks.
You are suggested to visit a GP, get clinically assessed. You need to get few Blood tests & Imaging tests(X-Ray, CT, MRI if required) done to detect the cause of your discomfort.
With proper treatment Sciatica pain gets better in 2-3 weeks, but if neglected may take a longer time.
You can take Combiflam(pain killer), one sos when pain. Self care is important, do regular walking, light stretching exercises under a physiotherapist, apply hot & cold compression to feel better.
Your treatment (via medicines or surgery) will depend on your reports & the severity of your symptoms.
Hope I have answered your question. Take care. Regards, Dr Nupur K
