Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 28 year old nephew has spinal muscular atrophy. Never had seizures, never been diagnosed with epilepsy. Doctors gave him Levaquin for infection in bronchitis tube site and blood. He started having seizures. E G D now shows spot on brain that they say signifies epilepsy. Plea second comment fairly, your opinion. I read about Levaquin effects on patients with muscle and tendon issues. His doctors insist it is not due to Levaquin. Something is terribly wrong when a doctor obviously knows this patients primary diagnosis of SMA, puts him on Levaquin anyway.
