My Mother suffered from an AVM in her temporal lobe about fifteen years ago and had to undergo Embolization and then Neuro Surgery. she did very well until about ten years later. At that time she starting having seizures and passing out. Heart disease is in our family and apparently her atherosclerosis was extreme upon examination. would the embolization cause tears in the arteries and increased the accumulation of plaque down the road?
