What Causes Seizures In A Transgender While On Testosterone Blockers?
My granddaughter is transgendered from a male, and recently started having seizures. She started taking a small dosage of estrogen and a testosterone blocker about 4 months ago, to help with the transition. The seizures started about a month ago. We are currently undergoing EEG s and MRI s for a diagnosis. Do you think there is a linkage to the estrogen or testosterone blockers?

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intra cranial (inside the brain) causes.
We have to look for electrolyte abnormalities also.
