What Causes Severe Abdominal Cramps, Headache And Chills?

hello, i felt fine until 3 days ago. first symptom was extremely cold hands and feet then overall chills. headache and stomach cramps followed. slept for most of next 2 days. ate almost nothing. then diarrhea on 3rd day. stools were unusually dark, almost black which i understand can be an ulcer. able to hold down food now but feel tightness below sternum after eating.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thanks for the query,
the symptoms you gave are of acute gastritis leading to ulceration get yourself started on
proton pump inhibitors once before breakfast and sucralfate(syrup) and if the condition persists you should get an endoscopy, to rule out what is the cause of bleeding.also avoid spicy food, fast food, soft drinks, smoking.eat fruits(avoid citrus fruits) boiled vegitables and boiled rice.
if diahrrea persists take ORS keep yourself hydrated.
