Hello, I am 61 years old and have recently suffered a burst Appendix. The surgeons also removed a 20cm section of gangrenous bowel. I am now suffering frequent very loose stools, extreme abdominal pain and flatulence. Is it safe for me to take Immodium, or perhaps psyllium husks. Please help.
1.Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 2.Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 3.avoid excessive tea, coffee 4.Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food 5. Do Not postpone Breakfast 6. Avoid smoking and Alcohol
And take following medications
Capsule Racecadotril twice a day for 3 days Capsule Bifilac once a day after food for 5 days Syrup Gelusil MPS, one table spoon before food twice a day for days
Consult Physician if symptom persist
