What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain In A Toddler Post Trauma?

My toddler fell from a high top chair directly on her stomach. She is fine one second and the next she is holding her stomach and crying. Not sure if it s something I need to be concerned about? Or is it just pain from the fall that will eventually pass.

hi
thanks for posting in HCM
I have understand your concern

pain over abdomen after fall from height may be because of superficial or deep injury

to rule out those two I ll suggest you to get done sonogram of the abdomen , we can check any damage to intra abdominal organs also

if sonogram is normal just give her syp.imol 5ml thrice daily for 2 to 3 days
