General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You may be having gastitis which may be viral in nature (also called stomach flu). It normally is self-limiting and should not go beyond a week.
Meanwhile, you may take Omeprazole 40 mg 30 minutes before breakfast and also try to eat and drink in frequent small amounts to avoid nausea and vomiting.

If no improvement in the next 2-3 days or if you notice any worsening you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Kind regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
General and Family Physician
