Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain, Vomiting, Nasal Bleeding And Chills?
Is there a new stomach flu? 1st day extreme stomach pain, vomited very small amt, had a bloody nose at same time, lots of gas the day before, 2nd day stomach hurt really bad, still afraid to eat, chills once in a while, now it s day 5 cane eat. But still stomach pain on and off all and each day.
You may be having gastitis which may be viral in nature (also called stomach flu). It normally is self-limiting and should not go beyond a week. Meanwhile, you may take Omeprazole 40 mg 30 minutes before breakfast and also try to eat and drink in frequent small amounts to avoid nausea and vomiting.
If no improvement in the next 2-3 days or if you notice any worsening you will need to see your doctor.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Kind regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
