General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. You seem to have kidney problem causing back pain & swelling along with blood in urine. It is an alarming sign & you need earliest medical aid after consultation & needful investigations by a kidney specialist ( Nephrologist ) The problem of acid reflux & excessive hunger could be side effect of the medicines you are taking (or it may be independent of medicine intake.) Don't ever take medicine on an empty stomach( unless specifically advised to takeon empty stomach)- take them after eating something non spicy & mild or bland.Over the counter medicine Ranitidin would help . Thanks
