General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux. Better to avoid deep throating while oral sex. If you were my patient with such condition then I would suggest taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole ( Nexium ) and motility enhancers like domperidone for long term. This will be helpful to suppress the reflux. Diet is also important. Avoid carbonated drinks, excess coffee, smoking and alcohol. Fatty, greasy ,fried and junk foods should be avoided also. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
