What Causes Severe Body Tremors And Shoulder Blade Pain?

Last night before going to the ER, my mom experienced, for the third time in a 5 year period, body tremors, dull ache in left shoulder blade and broke out in a cold sweat. Every time she has gone to the ER and they have run every test there is to run. She has not had a heart attack or stroke per the hospital doctors.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The body tremors associated with cold sweat may be due to fever. Also, shoulder pain may happen if the tremor is lasting for a while and may be due to muscle spasms in the back.
This is generally due to a self-limiting condition such as a common cold and she should be better in a couple of days. Normal test results also support the fact that this does not seem a serious condition.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
