What Causes Severe Chest Pan,ringing In Ears, profuse Sweating And Numbness?

My 19-year old son was driving and started having severe chest pain with ringing in the ears. He started sweating profusely with numbness throughout his body. He felt as though he would pass out. The symptoms lasted a couple of minutes.

No family history of heart disease.

Any ideas?

Respectfully,

Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The body's balancing mechanism is in the inner ear. An ENT (Ear Nose Throat) specialist is the one to see - they have special tests to confirm or exclude the contribution of the ear. This is particularly important in the presence of tinnitus (ringing in the ears).

Need to exclude Congenital Heart Disease… EKG / ECHOcardiogram / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.

The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
Good luck
