What Causes Severe Chills In A Diabetic Patient?

My 83 year old bro has had severe chills for two days with no fever. The ambient temperature has been n the 80s. He has diabetes, controlled chf, and was checked by his cardiologist last week. I d there a bug going around that causes this? He also c/o of occasional earache symptoms.

He needs to be examined clinically for proper assessment. you shoud visit your attending physician . It ay be due to infection like prostatitis, malaria or any other infection in the body..
Record his body temeperature along with the pulse.
Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain
