What Causes Severe Cold After Taking Ramipril?

I have recently been prescribed Ramipril (2.5mg daily) for high blood pressure. I have also recently developed a cold: in the past I would have taken ibuprofen to relieve my cold symptoms, but the information leaflet seems to suggest I shouldn t take ibuprofen with ramipril. What can I use instead? Aspirin? Paracetomol?

Cold like symptoms is a side effect that some individual experience while taking ramipril, especially for the first few days.
I would recommend Paracetamol and water vapor inhalation for relief from cold.
