Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If you already had a normal period after sex, pregnancy is ruled out. If you do not have other symptoms like fever, burning/too frequent micturition or loose stools, presence of abdominal pain, bloating and nausea can suggest gastritis.

If I were your treating doctor, I would have given acid suppressants like Pantoprazole, along with antacids and domperidone for 5 days to see the response. Your doctor will guide you. Meanwhile, avoid spicy or fried items, drink enough fluids and have a fibre rich diet.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
