General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems like your baby may have contracted another upper respiratory tract infection. It is very common in children to get multiple during the common cold season especially if he/she is going in a daycare where other children are sick. Cough, dry or with mucus it is one of the symptoms. His general condition is the best indication if to go to the ER/family doctor or not.

Give him plenty of fluids to stay well hydrated. Give Paracetamol or Ibuprofen 4-6 hours aa needed according to his weight. If he has fever that lasts more then 3-5 days, and if he gets worse and not better after 5 days, consider seeing a local doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
