Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe ear pain, swelling in throat and blood in saliva. Well the symptoms you mention in query are indicating infection of upper respiratory tract infection that has spread to ear through eustachian tube . Sometimes when upper respiratory track infection when left untreated or when occur again and again spread to ear through eustachian tube and causing pain . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and allergy test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin .) at least for 10 days along with decongestant and anti inflammatory . For now do warm saline gargles , take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses to external ear .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
