Dehydration and electrolyte deficiency can also cause extreme fatigue.Adequate hydration is essential.
Serum electrolytes can be measured.
Since there is a history of travel,any fever or flu like symptoms should be tested for ruling out infections prevalent in that particular area which was visited.
