What Causes Severe Fatigue And Slurred Speech?

Hi I haven t been feeling well for the about 2-3 days now. feeling very tired and weak. I suffer from migraines and have noticed that my words have become a little more slurred from time to time. I keep forgetting my phone at home when going to work and forgetting other little things that I do all the time on a daily basis. I feel like I am honestly loosing my mind.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Acute onset of slurred speech and memory issues are concerning central nervous system issues including Stroke.

A thorough neurological examination and CT brain are recommended at this point. So, please be advised to follow up with your primary provider.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal
